Mauryan Cast Copper, Vidarbha region ( 3rd – 2nd BC), Copper Karshapana, a bold square copper coin cast by the ministers of Ashoka in Vidarbha area of Pavani and Bhandara. There is a large stupa at Pavani where an Ashokan edict and such coins have been discovered.
